Harriet Williams leads the international ecommerce, mobile, and online marketing teams at Debenhams.

She is responsible for driving traffic to the Debenhams websites through paid search, SEO, affiliate, price comparison, and online display activity and for expanding Debenhams online internationally.  Harriet also leads Debenhams’ mobile strategy and since 2010 Debenhams has successfully launched a number of mobile apps, a mobile site and run various SMS, location-based marketing and mobile couponing campaigns. In 2010 Harriet was recognised by Retail Week as a Rising Star in online retail.

Prior to ecommerce Harriet led the strategic insight team at Debenhams which analyses industry, competitor and consumer data to inform senior management decision making. The team acts as the voice of the customer, continually identifying areas for improvement and new opportunities for growth. The team gains feedback from thousands of customers every month through in-store interviews, online discussions and surveys.

Before Debenhams Harriet worked as a strategy consultant for Marakon Associates, advising diverse companies across the globe including Nordstrom, Alcan, Cardinal Health and ABN Amro.
